This makes it all worthwhile to go through the trouble of harvesting and selling at the farmer’s market because this is what I get to come home with as a reward (besides the mula!)!

Aren’t they beautiful??!!  I even had to clean house to make it worthy of their presence!  But I needed the excuse.  Don’t ever visit on Fridays,  especially after a week of  evenings trudging in after dark with muddy feet, stinky bodies, and sticks, bugs and thugs stuck in our hair.  Don’t visit during our little farm’s day of rush hours, during my weekly pull-all-my-hair-out-cuz-I’m-sure-we-won’t-have-enough-stuff-to-meet-customer-demands-and-if-we-do-it-won’t-be cool-and-crisp-during-all-this-heat sessions.  Just don’t do it.  Did I mention not to visit on Fridays?  Ever.

Which is why I need motivation when I get home.  To clean up the evidence.
